Thinking...

I have been thinking a lot lately about a lot of things...Sounds funny I know but that is one of the reasons I love this blog, I can get my thoughts out on paper (well at least in front of me sort of) and some how it always makes me feel better.

Jaiden is growing up WAY to fast. Now when I ask him to do something he tells me, "Mommy, just one minute." Yes it is cute but I am sure he really understands what that means because he wants to finish whatever he is doing and then we can go or do what we need to do. Very sad to see that he is almost 3 and growing up so much.

Work is work and of course there is not much right now with the way the economy is that I can do about that. I just have to come to realize that it takes more to be negative than it does to be positive, so I try and do my best and chuck my tired unhappy attitude at the door and get done what I need to get done during my 8 hours here at this desk.

Marriage is WORK. No one ever told me it was going to be easy so I never thought that; but it is a lot of work to remain calm in all parts of a marriage and a family. Marriage is everything I wanted it to be and more, I love Dusty with all of my heart and I am so glad we are together each and every day of our lives and if we go a day without seeing each other because of work or other things it just seems odd, but we are two different people and we do have some different views on things! Just workin thru it. We will make it, I am not worried just takes time.

Family - now that is a whole different subject. I love our family of 3. Do I want one day for it to be a family of 4 - YES I do - is it time right now, only God knows that and when it is His time it will be right. I love that Dusty and I have created such an amazing little guy in Jaiden. He does have parts of both of us that is for sure. I love to plan things for the three of us to do, along with other family or even alone. We are going camping this weekend with Dusty's sister and her family and I can not wait. Jaiden loves to be with his cousins. On the other side of that, I love to do things just the 3 of us. I know Jaiden loves to spend time with mommy and daddy.

Money - WOW where do I begin. I truly believe that it is the root of all evil. No matter what you do, you always NEED it for the most part. The only thing that is really free to do is breathe air. Even taking Jaiden to the park costs us gas to get there, ya know what I mean. We do the best we can with what we have and we will make it, I just hate that everything we need or want costs us money. And then of course there are the unexpected items that come up that you have to take care also.

Friends. That is something that I am so incredibly THANKFUL for. I would not ask for better friends. I have the most amazing best friend in the world. We talk almost every day and I would not change that for the world. I know that I can turn to her for anything. I am so thankful that God has given me the friends that I have in my life. At one point I never really knew why I was in the places I am until I made a friend or someone or something impacted my life and then it hit me, THIS is why God has me here. I have met great friends from work, which as you all know is a place I do not want to be. I am so thankful that God placed me in the building for this time in my life. It is amazing the people that have come in and out of my life just because of work. I know that the two friends I have in my life now because of work are amazing. We recently spent a weekend in Vegas together and it was such a great trip. No stress, no fighting, no arguing. Overall it was just a nice trip. I know that God will take care of me and the people that he brings in and out of my life and truly I am so blessed.

All in all I have nothing to complain about in my life. I love my family and my friends and I am SO thankful to have a job even if it is not one that I really care for at the present time in my life. I know like I said there is a reason I am here and even if I don't know why now, God does and that is all that matters.

Growing Up and Lives Changing

Growing up -

Just seeing those two words makes me realize it is so true - right in front of my eyes

Jaiden is two and half years old - I mean really where did the past two and a half years go?

He is walking and talking and making full sentences and asking questions and of course telling Daddy and I what to do.

I never would have imagined two and a half years ago even a year ago, Jaiden would be saying I miss you on the phone when I am working late or tell me to be happy not mad when I get upset about small things.

I love his innocence and the way he tells me how the world works in the mind of a two and half year old - it is great

Of course I don't remember being two and a half so I love seeing it all thru his eyes and thru his words.

I love when he asks us to build 'Big Castles" out of his Lego's and of course I love that he would be content to only eat cereal each and every day for all of his meals if I would let him - He gets excited over the smallest things and I love that - he loves to take his yummy vitamins each night and he loves to take a bath and get clean. He also loves Milk and Water - not really juice (every once in awhile).

I love that he is at a daycare that he enjoys being at each day, and I am so thankful for his daycare provider also.

Looking back over the past two and a half years, it has been great. I love being a mom more than anything else.

Work...Work...Work...

Work is going OK

That is all I can say right now

A guy that works for us is leaving on Friday and it is going to be SO hard for me to see him go. He has been there since before I started and when I started working there he took me under his wing and helped me to learn everything that was expected of me - Such a great help

I know for sure I will be crying come Friday afternoon.

We went to lunch today with him and I was crying at lunch - such an emotional mess, I am.

I just wish people never had to leave because it is so hard to more on without them.

Different items for Jaiden...

I really want this bike for Jaiden...

www.stridersports.com

I really want this reader system for Jaiden...

www.yourbabycanread.com

Both of these things I belive can help in in life -

Of course who doesn't need to know how to ride a bike and of course if it can happen sooner rather than later why not - also the same with the reading - he is smart as it is, but if he can read faster and before school - why not - I am thinking both for his Birthday Christmas

Scentsy

I am officially a Scentsy Independent Consultant...Check out my website

HJBateman.Scentsy.Us

Also let me know if you need or want anything.

Here are a few little Questions about Scentsy that might help you understand what it is and why we do.

What kind of wax is used in Scentsy Bars and Scentsy Bricks?Scentsy wickless candle bars are made with a custom, high-quality paraffin wax blend. It is designed for a specific scent load and low melt point.

What kind of fragrance is used in Scentsy products?Scentsy products are manufactured with fragrance oils. Fragrance oils can be all-natural or laboratory-reproduced copies of natural aromatic chemicals, depending on cost-effectiveness. In some cases, Scentsy products also contain essential oils–natural oils derived from plants that can have therapeutic effects and are produced without regard to their cost-effectiveness. Scentsy products may contain essential oils but do not necessarily contain them, so we make no claims about essential oils in our marketing. Please beware of unscrupulous marketing campaigns. “Infused with essential oil” could mean nothing more than one drop of essential oil in a very large batch. “Inspired by essential oil” means nothing more than the product contains fragrance oil.

Do Scentsy products contain phthalates? No. Scentsy products are made with fragrance oils that do not contain phthalates.

How long will a Scentsy Bar’s fragrance last? That depends on a number of factors, including the size of the room, the humidity and temperature in the room, and how many sections of a Scentsy Bar are used at a time. Your biological makeup and unique reaction to smell will also influence how long a scent seems to last. In general, a Scentsy Bar lasts approximately 40 to 80 hours. This wide variation in time is due to the composition of different fragrances as well as the factors described above. A light fragrance such as mint will not last as long as a heavy bakery fragrance.
How are Scentsy Bars and Bricks measured?Scentsy Bars and Scentsy Bricks are measured by weight, not volume. A Scentsy Bar weighs at least 2.4 oz; a Scentsy Brick weighs at least 16 oz. Individual Bars and Bricks may weigh a little more, depending on the fragrance, but they will never weigh less.

What wattage of light bulb do Scentsy Warmers use?Our Full-Size Scentsy Warmers use a maximum 25-watt bulb. Scentsy Mid-Size Warmers use a maximum 20-watt bulb, and a Plug-In Scentsy Warmers take a maximum 15-watt bulb. Each warmer comes with a light bulb.
Are Scentsy Warmers UL listed? Each electrical component used in the manufacture of a Deluxe Scentsy Warmer is UL listed: the housing the light bulb screws into, the cord, the plug and the switch. The UL number can be found right on each of the components except the switch (which is too small to include a UL number but does have the “UL” trademark on it).

How do I change the wax in a Scentsy Warmer? For a Full- or Mid-Size Scentsy Warmer, turn the Warmer off first. Then, carefully pour liquid wax back into the original Clamshell if it is still fragrant and you’d like to reuse it, or into a disposable container if to throw it away. Wipe the dish out with a paper towel and you are ready to start with a new fragrance. For a Plug-In Scentsy Warmer, turn the unit off for 30-60 seconds and carefully use a paper towel to wipe the wax out of the warmer.

Jimmie David - My Little Nephew turns ONE

Jimmie David, turned ONE on July 27th. His birthday party was on July 31st at the Big Cheese in Yucaipa. He loved his cake and playing with his big brother and cousin Jaiden. I on the other hand loved taking the pictures for the party and editing them. Enjoy
